What do I think about all the "Magical weight loss promoters?"

Magical weight loss promoters….

MCT oil, coffee, coconut oil, apple vinegar, ginger, weight-loss tea, weight-loss supplements and more and more and more.

Just drink 2 cups of this, or take two tablespoons of that and you're all set. No more over-weight problems.

Really?

Following this post, I'll publish separate posts dedicated to examining some of these magical weight loss promoters, but in this post I want to focus on the "magical weight loss promoters" phenomenon as a whole.

Weight loss promoters are as their name indicates – promoters.

If you already have a healthy lifestyle and a balanced diet and you only want to give a little boost to your weight loss, these substances might be helpful.

BUT

These substances will definitely not help if you don't come in to a balanced lifestyle.

This is a critical piece of information that you must understand. These promoters are not a magic potion for weight loss.

They can't replace a healthy and balanced diet. They can only add to it to maximize your results.

In this sense, adding these substances to your menu without first making changes to your lifestyle might actually keep you from achieving your goal of losing weight. This is due to our tendency to pass the responsibility for losing weight from us to that magic potion. And it just doesn't work. Perhaps you've tried it and learned it first-hand.

What's more, if you actually adopt a healthy lifestyle you just don't need the assistance of these substances. You can then joyfully lose weight without having them in your menu.

In the next several posts, I'll write about the benefits of some of these substances (only those supported by science) and how to use them correctly.

See you at the next one :)
